01Disconnect Google
In LocalGenius, go to Settings › Integrations and press Disconnect next to Google. You can also remove LocalGenius at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We delete your Google sign-in tokens straight away, and the Google Analytics and Search Console numbers we stored within 30 days.
02Disconnect Facebook and Instagram
In LocalGenius, go to Settings › Integrations and press Disconnect next to Facebook. You can also remove LocalGenius in Facebook under Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
We delete your Facebook and Instagram access tokens straight away, and stored page details and post results within 30 days. Posts already published to your pages stay on Facebook or Instagram until you delete them there.
03Delete your whole account
Email privacy@localgenius.com.au from the email address on your account with the subject Delete my data. We confirm it is you, then:
- take your website offline,
- disconnect every connected account and delete their tokens,
- delete or de-identify your data within 90 days.
We keep records the law makes us keep, such as tax invoices, and nothing else.
04If you are a customer of a LocalGenius business
If you sent an enquiry, booking or review through a business's LocalGenius website, that business controls your details. Contact them first. If you can't reach them, email privacy@localgenius.com.au and we will help.
05Confirmation
We email you when the deletion is done. You can ask us for a confirmation code for your Facebook deletion request at any time.
