01The agreement
These terms are between you and LocalGenius. By creating an account or using LocalGenius you agree to them.
02Your account
You must be 18 or over and give us true details. Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
03Plans and payment
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in Australian dollars, including GST. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Add-ons, Genius Credits and done-for-you services are charged as shown when you order them. Ad spend on Google or Meta is paid to them directly.
04Cancelling
Cancel any time from Billing. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part periods, except where Australian Consumer Law requires it.
05Your content
You own your content. You give us permission to host, show and back it up so we can run your website. You must have the rights to anything you upload, and it must not be illegal, misleading or infringe anyone else's rights.
06AI-written content
LocalGenius can write posts, pages and replies for you. Nothing is published until you approve it, or until you turn on automatic posting. Check it before it goes live; you are responsible for what is published under your business name.
07Connected accounts
When you connect Google, Facebook or other services, their own terms also apply. You can disconnect at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle that data.
08Domains
Domains registered through us are registered in your name and are yours. Renewal fees apply after any free first year.
09Acceptable use
Don't use LocalGenius to send spam, break the law, attack other systems, or resell the service without our written agreement.
10Availability
We work hard to keep LocalGenius running but can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may update features over time.
11Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
12Ending the agreement
We may suspend accounts that break these terms or go unpaid, after giving notice where we reasonably can.
13Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
