Priya reads the design consult page and asks for Saturday morning. Luke brings tile and tapware samples, measures up and they pick sage finger tiles and a timber vanity. Monday he opens her enquiry and taps Quote. Her photo is already there. He adds his items, GST is worked out and it's good for 30 days.

The reveal. Same corner, same angle, five stars.

Luke stands where Priya took her photo in March and takes the after. Genius puts the two side by side on his gallery and Ensuites page and writes the reveal post. Then he taps Ask for a review and Priya gets a friendly text. Sunday night, after her first proper shower, she leaves five stars. The next person in Blackburn searching “ensuite renovation” sees it next to Luke's name.

Do I have to write anything?

No. Tell us what you renovate and where, and LocalGenius writes your home page, a page for each kind of job, a design consult page and a page for each suburb. Want something changed? Type it to Ask Genius, like “add laundries to my services”.

Can I show my before and after photos?

Yes. Add them to your gallery and they show on the right job page, side by side. You choose which photos go up and what's said about the job, like the suburb but not the street.

Do progress posts go out without me seeing them?

Never. Genius writes each post from your photos and your words, then waits for your OK. Once you approve, it goes to Facebook, Instagram and your Google Business Profile.

Will my prices go on the website?

Only if you want them to. Quotes are built from your own items and prices, with GST worked out, and sent straight to the customer from their enquiry.
