One first enquiry, start to finish

A worried message at 8pm. A calm first call on Thursday.

Claire runs Marlow Street Legal in Geelong with two lawyers and Nina on the front desk. Sam owns a café and has just had a letter from the landlord. This is how a stranger with a lease worry becomes a first call, without anyone at the firm working at 8pm.

Marlow Street Legal, Claire, Nina and Sam are made up to show how it works
8:12pmTuesday

A letter from the landlord, and a page that explains it calmly.

Sam can't sleep on it, so searches "shop lease dispute lawyer Geelong". Marlow Street has a Commercial leases page, so that's what Google shows. It says what the firm helps with, what a free first call is, and what happens next, in plain words.

  • A page for every practice area and suburb
  • Plain words, a careful tone, and you approve each one

8:16pmTuesday

One worried message. Nobody has to answer it tonight.

Sam isn't ready to ring a lawyer, but a short message feels fine. The form on the Leases page asks what it's about, then lands in the LocalGenius inbox. A Facebook message about wills arrives the same evening. Both wait for Nina in the morning.

  • Every form knows which page it came from
  • Website, chat, email, Facebook and Instagram in one place

The call starts with Sam's lease, not "so, what do you do?"

Sam booked 9:30 Thursday and the confirmation pointed back to the Leases page. By the time Claire rings, Sam knows what a first call covers and what to have ready. The page did the explaining, so the 15 minutes go on the actual problem. Your Google profile says the same thing your website does.

Your pages

Every page a worried person reads before they get in touch.

Nobody searches for "a law firm". They search for the will they keep putting off, the house they're buying, the job that went wrong. Each one gets its own page in plain words, and nothing goes live until you've read it.

    What lawyers ask us.

    $29.99 a month to start

Four plans, from a simple website to fully managed. Free domain for the first year.

    See all plans →
Will client reviews show on our website?

No. We don't put client testimonials, star ratings or outcome claims on law firm websites. Pages explain what you help with and how to get started, in plain words, and you approve every one.

    Do you take our bookings?

No. Your "Book a free call" button and saved reply link to the booking tool you already use, such as Calendly, Microsoft Bookings or your own link. Your diary, files and client records stay where they are.

    Can we send fixed-fee quotes?

Yes, for the work you price that way, like wills or conveyancing. Reply to an enquiry with a quote: your fee, GST worked out, valid for 30 days. Everything else can start with a free call instead.

    Who writes the practice-area pages?

Genius writes a first draft from what you tell us, in a careful, plain tone with a general information line. You read and approve each page before it goes live, and you can change any of it by typing to Ask Genius.

Tonight, someone is worried about a letter. Be the page they find.

Get your firm's website up, then let LocalGenius look after the pages, the messages, the call links and Google.
