“Can I hire a court Saturday?” Answered with your booking link.

Josh just moved to Carina and wants a hit with a mate. He asks on Facebook. It lands in one inbox with the club's Instagram, website chat, forms and email, each marked with where it came from. Karen sends back the court booking link from the couch, and Josh grabs Court 3 for 8am.

Pennants win. The news post is written before the drinks.

Div 2 beat Morningside six rubbers to two. Karen adds the scores to Posts and Genius writes the club news: who played, who won, and when the next home round is. She reads it, taps Schedule, and it goes on the website's News page, Facebook and Instagram.

  • Pennants results, social nights and term dates written up for you

Josh comes to social tennis. Five stars that night.

The Saturday court hire turned into Wednesday social tennis. After the last set, a thank-you text goes to Josh with the Google review link. He leaves five stars before he's home, and the next person who searches “tennis club near me” sees a friendly club.

Hired a court on Saturday, came back for social tennis tonight. Booking took two minutes, the courts are great and everyone made me feel welcome. Joining up next week.

“Everyone made me feel welcome.”

3:40pmNext Wednesday

A storm rolls in. One sentence and everyone knows. App coming soon

“Social tennis is off tonight, courts are flooded. Back next Wednesday.” Karen says it into the LocalGenius app at work. Genius shows the three places it will change: a notice on the Social tennis page, a Google update, and a post for Facebook and Instagram. One tap, and nobody turns up to wet courts.

  • Say it or type it in the app
  • Website, Google and socials updated together

Questions

Things club committees ask us.

Something else? Email support@localgenius.com.au and a real person will get back to you.

Will it work with ClubSpark and our court booking system?

Yes. Keep the booking system your club already uses. The Book a court buttons on your website go straight to your booking page, and you can send the same link back when someone messages. LocalGenius doesn't take court bookings, memberships or payments itself.

We're all volunteers. Who writes the website?

We do. Tell us what your club runs and where, and LocalGenius writes your home page, a page for court hire, social tennis, juniors, coaching and pennants, and a page for each suburb nearby. Want something changed? Type it to Genius, like “add cardio tennis on Monday nights”.

Can we post pennants results every week?

Yes. Add the scores and Genius writes the news post. It waits for your OK, then goes on your website's News page and to Facebook and Instagram.

Most people message us on Facebook. Does that work?

Yes. Facebook and Instagram messages land in the same inbox as your website chat, forms and email, each marked with where it came from, so whoever's on duty can answer from their phone.

Is the domain included?

Yes, your domain is free for the first year on every plan.
